Great Wildebeest Migration
The Great Wildebeest Migration is the movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest and around 60,000 zebra, move in a huge loop around Kenya and Tanzania, in search of fresh wetlands. The animals take the same route each year, and this is the largest single migration of any animal that exists across the world. You can catch the migration in many different regions at different times of the year, but to witness the wildebeest arrive on the plains of the Masai Mara nature reserve in Kenya is an experience of a lifetime. This is a dangerous and arduous journey for the wildebeest, but one which makes for spectacular viewing for nature lovers.
Whale Watching in Alaska
There are many places throughout the world where you can watch whales in their natural habitat, leaping in and out of the water.
